much will a website cost ? |
|
|
| Because
each client requires different things from their website, it's not possible
to give a set price for a typical site. The cost will vary depending upon
what services and features the site needs to offer, among other factors.
Speedway riders and clubs can build their own website package by picking
and choosing which features and services they want, and they can tailor their
package to meet their own budget. |

what
if i've been offered a cheaper option from someone else
? |

| We're probably
not the cheapest website designers in town - and to be quite honest, we don't
want to be! As with most things, you get what you pay for. But it's worth
bearing in mind that many of our speedway rider clients have came to us for
help after accepting cheaper or 'free' offers from elsewhere, only to find
the final product is far from what they wanted. |

will
my website be kept up to date ? |
|

| That's
pretty much up to you. Once your website has been launched, it's essential
that you keep it up to date with the latest news, information, products,
services etc. You'll be able to do this from our user friendly Content Management
System (CMS) which allows you to "log on" from any computer with an internet
connection, and add or edit information on your site. But if you're not able
to access a computer, perhaps if you're a speedway rider away from home,
you can simply call or txt your Site Manager who will take care of any updates
on your behalf. |

how
long will it take for my site to be built and ready ? |
|
|
| Obviously
this will depend on the complexity of your site. It'll also depend on how
good you are at providing information when we need it! We will obviously
need to get certain amounts of information from you to start working on the
site and then building up the content - if you can provide this to us when
we need it, things run smoothly. As an example, a typical standard speedway
rider website can usually be completed within 3-4 weeks, once the information
has been supplied. However, it's difficult to judge our overall workload
on a day to day basis, so if you're wanting a site developing, don't leave
it until the last minute to get in touch !! |

how
and when is payment due ? |
|
|
| For any
website project, a payment of 50% of the total cost is required up-front,
before any project work will be commenced. Advance payment is required because
we have to register and purchase services and other features which require
payment up front. The balance is payable upon completion of the project,
but prior to launch. Payments must be cleared into our account prior to handover
of a completed project. You can pay by cheque, online banking, or by paying
directly into our account at any branch of Lloyds TSB in the United
Kingdom. |

am
i required to sign a contract ? |
|
|
| Generally
speaking, this will depend upon the nature of the project. Speedway rider
clients are required to sign a contract for a period of 12 months (or longer
if agreed in advance). |

i've
found the "www" domain name i want - shall i register it
? |
|
|
| If you're
planning to use our services - NO! Regardless of how cheap you think the
deal is, or even if it's free, we ask our clients NOT to register their own
domain names. We work only with tried and tested domain and hosting suppliers
that we trust, and we prefer all domain names to be registered through our
preferred provider. If you register it through somebody else, we will then
need to arrange a domain transfer away from your provider and into ours.
This can, in some cases, take up to 2-3 months (depending on how recently
you have registered) and can incur additional costs. |

who
owns my domain name once it's been registered ? |
|
|
| We register
domains under the name "BeeCre8ive Media" on behalf of our clients purely
for ease of administration purposes. Should you ever decide to leave us for
any reason, we will release the domain name to you without question or hesitation
- providing the contract has not been broken and that no monies or payments
remain due to us at that time. |
